Round Table

         

         ROUND TABLE

On march 14th we had a round table where we discussed some topics about social networks, I had the opportunity to be the moderator of the round table, I was in charge of proposing the topics of discussion, decide who could talk in a certain order, so I gave turns to them in order to be more organized. The first topic we discussed was the disadvantages of social networks, most of them said that the insecurity because they don´t have suitable security measures for the ones that use it, one of my parthners express that the worst thing is that the kids have total access to social networks without the supervision of a responsable adult. The second topic we discuss was the advantages of the social networks, and almost everyone said that it was an important tool because it let us communicate with our families, friends and with someone that lives in other country, the multiple information that it have help us in academic purposes, the best of all was that it is free and can be used by everyone. Finally I proposed to discuss the possible solutions of the insecurity that this social networks have and the solution we saw most appropiate to ensure the children safety was to ask the number of the document to create an account in these social networks.

We conclude that not only the social networks but the internet are fundamentals tolos, if we use them appropiately.
